   Nadia Campbell is a 25 year-old “old soul” from Brooklyn, New York. In 1994, at age eleven, she founded The Victorian Hands Foundation, a not-for-profit organization. TVHF’s mission is to enhance awareness and respect, among younger generations for our elderly. She has been featured in publications such as the NY Times, Daily News, Essence Magazine and College Bound Magazine. She has also been interviewed on radio stations such as XM Radio in Washington D.C and WBAI in New York.In 2002, Nadia was invited to the White House for a conference on volunteerism with John Bridgeland, the former head of Freedom Corps and White House staff.

That same year, Nadia co-starred in a public service announcement that reached over 10,000 viewers in movie theaters nationwide and on cable television and was recognized as the 2002 Youth Leader of the Year by New Light Leadership Coalition, Inc.Nadia has also received several awards: The Fleet Youth Entrepreneur Award, The Spirit of Hope Award, The Shining Star Award, The Osborn Elliot Community Leadership Award and the Bank of America Local Hero Award.Nadia is not only a young woman with a not-for-profit organization; she is a college student, a poet, a dancer, a mentor, a role model and an advocate for the Elderly.

Nadia currently assists with the daily operation and programs of a Senior Center in Manhattan. Nadia has worked in healthcare facilities as Director of Volunteer Services, Activities Coordinator and Recreational Therapist. She has also worked in sales and on local political campaigns.
